Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of the questions we get asked most of the time. If you have a different question, please don’t hesitate to email or call us.
Do you have a showroom?
No, after many years working from a high street showroom, due to ever increasing costs we are working now from recommendations and on line. We have all our door and worktop samples etc and bring them to your home.
Do you do everything?
Yes… from stripping out the old kitchen or bathroom, plastering if required and all fitting required. We can also supply and fit flooring and have a decorator we can recommend. We also arrange all the old units etc to be removed at the end of the job.
Can you supply different types of worktops?
Yes we can fit laminate and wooden worktops as well as Quartz and Granite and Corian solid surfaces
Are you kitchens flat pack or solid built?
All our kitchen units are individually made to order to your requirements and are supplied ridgid built…not flat pack. They also have soft close drawers and hinges as standard…along with 18mm carcass and backs.
Who installs your jobs?
One of the business owners, Paul, along with his son Lewis install our jobs. We also use trusted plasterers and an electrician and plumber so we have a solid team. No one is involved who we do not know well and trust.
How much does a full kitchen cost?
So generally we are carrying out a full project…thats all fitting, units appliances etc, maybe flooring as well. Depending on the door that is chosen, with a laminate worktop most of our kitchens cost between £9,000 and £15,000…thats for everything, including fitting. If a quartz or granite worktop was required, up to £18,000 or £20,000, or even more.
What is your payment schedule?
We ask for a 20% deposit an order. Then there is a further payment around a week before the work starts and a final payment at the end once completed.
What is the lead time for a job?
Generally around 3-5 weeks. Our units are made to order and they usually take around 3-4 weeks from order to delivery to us.
What are the next steps?
Give us a call or email or fill in the online form. We can then have a chat about your requirements and make an appointment to visit you in your home to take sizes of the room and maybe show some samples of doors etc. We then prepare a CAD drawing of you project and once this is approved prepare a quote. There is no pressure selling, just good advice and an honest price.
